Our videographer, Julia Smith, was one of the Matron of Honor’s best friends from college. We were both very impressed with her work & felt like we got along great with her personality! Finally we finally ran across Jennifer Van Elk and she set up a date to Skype with the both of us.

We chose our photographer after weeks of searching and inquiring. All boutineers were wrapped in twine. The flowers at the ceremony were all baby’s breath (lining the aisle and the arch). The groomsmen’s boutonnieres were baby’s breath with tiny white mums. The groom’s boutonniere was a white ranuculus with seeded eucalyptus. My bridesmaids’ bouquets were all white with mums and baby’s breath wrapped in lace that hung like a bow. My bouquet was made up of warm colors- pink and orange ranunculus, pink snapdragons, peach tulips and dahlias, baby’s breath, white lisianthus, green fern, with an ivory ribbon & teal pendant. My vision was to have all different shades of teal-with my Maid & Matron of Honor in the lightest shades-closest to the white of my dress! I went with each of them individually to Nancy’s Bridal Boutique, where they could look at a multitude of designers & choose what she liked best. I allowed each girl in my bridal party to choose a dress style and color that fit her frame and personality. And don't get me started on Angela and her dad's teary walk down the aisle! Angela is such a beautiful, happy bride just beaming the whole day through while Michael is one proud husband.

There are lots of darling details to watch out for from the chevron seating chart to the personalised corn hole game and the giant, wooden letter ‘E' guestbook but the thing I love most about this wedding is the emotion captured by Jennifer Van Elk Photography. The childhood sweethearts wanted their DIY wedding to ‘reflect the springtime – sweet, romantic and fresh with a colour palette of shades of teal & pops of coral.' And what a pretty combination! Michael and Angela's wedding was a handmade affair filled with colour and love.
